McLeod Law’s Story

McLeod Law LLP opened its doors in 1980 as a two-person operation. They’ve grown to a team of more than 50 lawyers with legal services in over 40 different areas. They’re in the business of helping people, and that will never change. The size and depth of experience mean every client engagement is scaled accordingly for an efficient and effective result.
With a growing business in multiple offices it was important for McLeod Law to improve their technology systems. Communication for the firm requires them to both interact with their clients and opposing counsel; a process that relied directly on the reliability of remote file sharing, video conferencing and access to firm business data. With the need to work with clients throughout Canada and the USA it was imperative that the firm have access to corporate data, video conferencing and constant access to email.
Microsoft Office365 was a perfect fit, providing newer interface, instant messaging, and innovative online collaboration with NetDocuments a cloud-based Document Management System (DMS). NetDocuments allowed them to centralize email and documents to increase availability and storage, and improved office collaboration. The process of migrating the data, setup of the accounts and configuration of each workstation and mobile devices was planned and executed on time and on budget.
NetDocuments for remote access provided secure and reliable connection to important files from any device, a solution that provided the firm with the flexibility to have access to vital client and business information anytime and anywhere. The increased reliable access made life easier to travel and still work.
